Great thoughts of the great people always create great persons. Kalava Srinivasulu is no exception to it. He has a considerable influence of the works of Srirangam Srinivasa Rao, popularly known as Sri Sri. His “Mahaprasthanam”, a collection of poems, where the poet becomes the mouth piece of the poor, has a great impact on Kalava Srinivasulu. He is so deeply influenced by it that even he can recite many of the stanzas of this long poem. The poet raises his voice against the oppression and injustice meted out to the downtrodden in this anthology. Sri Sri’s proposition of creating egalitarian society has it’s great impact on Kalava Srinivasulu.

Sri Ramoji Rao garu, a person who has created history by starting his career from scratch and reaching to the highest peaks of life, is Kalava Srinivasulu’s one of the greatest inspirers. He started his career as a Journalist in the largest circulated Telugu daily, “Eenadu” for which Sri Ramoji Rao is the Chief Editor. During his 14 years long unblemished career as a Journalist he had the opportunity of observing Ramoji Rao’s work culture, very closely. He used to attend the periodical review meetings conducted once in three months. Sri Ramoji Rao presided over the meetings as he was the Supreme of the organization. Those meetings gave Kalava Srinivasulu an opportunity to observe and learn from his dedication, motivation and thought provoking ideals. Ramoji Rao’s conviction that “there are no short cuts for victory except hard work”, has left a lasting impact on him.

Kalava Srinivasulu is greatly influenced by Sri Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao garu. The way he revolutionized politics by putting an end to hegemony of certain politicians and the way he has brought in real democracy in politics, inspired many people to enter into politics. His life, his discipline, his attitude are the guiding principles for Kalava Srinivasulu. During his tenure as a Journalist in Hindupur, he was fortunate enough to have a close look at the principled life of Sri NTR as he was the then MLA representing Hindupur. NTR’s concern for the downtrodden, his empathy towards common man and the unique welfare programmes meant for the poor inspired Kalava Srinivasulu greatly. Some of the articles of social concern written by him received appreciation from NTR.

Sri Nara Chandra Babu Naidu garu is yet another inspirer for him. Kalava Srinivasulu considers him as his friend, guide and philosopher. In fact he feels that discipline, social concern and shouldering their responsibility without any inhibition are the common principles adhered to by the trio – Ramoji Rao, NTR and Nara Chandra Babu Naidu. Inspired by the philosophy of life as understood by NTR, Chandra Babu Naidu introduced several welfare schemes meant for B.Cs, women, youth and farmers. Chandra Babu Naidu is a torchbearer for Kalava Srinivasulu. In hardships and troubles he gets himself consoled by comprehending the ways and means adopted by the ‘Trio’ during tribulations. Their life is a Bhagavathgitha for him as it provides solution to all the problems of human beings. The most important philosophy of life learnt from them is not to yield to the hardships and troubles and he followed it. In fact they have inspired and motivated him to face them boldly without any fear. Discipline, simplicity and punctuality, which gave divine guidance to Kalava Srinivasulu, are the principles adored and adopted to their perfection by Chandra Babu Naidu.
